Friends & Family Test Survey
The Friends and Family Test is a way for all patients to give feedback quickly and have their say on the care and treatment they experience across the NHS in England. It helps to improve local healthcare services for everyone by highlighting what is working well and what can be improved. The FFT has been in use in some hospital services since 2013 and is now expanding to more parts of the NHS, including GP practices from December 2014. 89% of patients who completed the Friends and Family Survey in December have indicated that they would be extremely likely or likely to recommend the surgery to friends and family.
We received a number of positive comments in January and these included Doctors listening and caring. Patients reporting they had a good service and being able to get an appointment to see the doctor the next day and on a Saturday. We were pleased to hear that nothing was too much trouble and that patients considered the practice to be friendly and efficient, with clean and caring environment and excellent health care staff.
