- chat to a student doctor about a medical problem you might have
- Volunteer to have your blood pressure taken by a medical student
Why?
As you are aware we are a teaching practice. During the course of a 6 month period, there will be occasions when our Medical Students are required to interview patients about a wide range of medical conditions. This is an important part of their training and helps students to develop good communication skills and a greater understanding of a condition from the patient’s point of view. These interviews can take place in the student’s consulting rooms at Hall Green Health or occasionally in the patient’s own home.
