Hall Green Health Contact Centre

Welcome to Hall Green Child Contact Centre, which offers a safe and friendly short term meeting venue for a child to maintain contact with an absent parent, and sometimes other relatives following the break-up of a marriage or similar relationship. They are open every Saturday afternoon between 2-4pm, and additionally fortnightly 11am-1pm.

For patients aged 16 years and over, the musculoskeletal physiotherapy service offers patients across Birmingham a wide range of expert assessment and treatment options such as electrotherapy, manual therapy, exercise prescription, classes such as Pilates and acupuncture as well as condition-specific advice to facilitate a prompt return to work, sport or function.

School Nurses

The school health advisory service aim to promote and support the health and wellbeing of all school aged children. The services have two key roles:

– To give confidential advice, care and support to schools, children, young people and their parents.

– To protect and promote the physical and emotional health of children and young people, to ensure that they get the most from their education.

West Midlands Ambulance Service

They provide non-emergency Patient Transport Services in the West Midlands and beyond. Patients will have a clinical need, and be unable to get to their appointment on public transport, volunteer groups, or with friends or relative’s

Community Paediatric Nurse

The service work together with: GPs, pediatricians, hospitals, health visitors, school nurses, social workers and voluntary agencies to enable children to be cared for at home. It can help children and their families manage:

– Life limiting or life threatening conditions
– Oxygen dependent babies
– Chronic illness
– Childhood cancers
– Nasogastric tube feeding
– End-of-life and palliative care
– Bereavement support

Request clinical hazardous waste collection.Hazardous clinical waste can include:

– human tissue
– blood or bodily fluids
– swabs and / or dressings
– syringes, needles or other sharp instruments
– any infectious waste known or likely to be contaminated

Health Visitors

The Health Visitor service works to improve the health of children and families in the crucial first years of life. They work in the community with a team offering support, advice and provide universal services to all families. Our teams include Community Nursery Nurses, Clerical Assistants, and Community Staff Nurses.
